SEAP announces 8th edition of Pune Connect 2019

Pune, Dec 10 (UNI) The Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP) will host 8th edition of its' flagship event Pune Connect 2019 on December 14 at the Hyatt Regency in Nagar Road here.

The event will hold a day-long conference aimed at helping professionals and organizations understand the recipe of success in a transforming and connected world, said Pune Connect Chairman Abhijit Atre.
Since its' inception in 2011, Pune Connect has been bringing IT Enterprises, Start ups, Scale ups, ITES and Engineering research organizations together on a common platform, he said.
He further said that the outline of the program primarily is to help promote start-ups in Pune, which has become a hub for budding entrepreneurs and enterprises.
This year, the organizers received 75 applications of start-ups, out of which 34 were interviewed and about 20 are invited to participate, he apprised.

At the event, top 5 start ups will get an opportunity to present their idea on the stage and put up a pitch for business and investment while top 3 winners will get an invitation to get enrolled with the Hatch programme from Digital Ocean.

Themed ‘Future in the Connected World’, the event will be divided into three separate tracks dedicated to Technology, Research and Workforce.
Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Academicians and Leadership Experts will share their vision and experiences on how technology is impacting the lives of people or research is shaping the future of technology and discuss the future of workforce, inclusivity and leadership in the digital age. The sessions will also host Gurukul Felicitation and Corporate Awards, he told.

The program will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr Omkar Rathi, Director General, STPI, Ministry of Electronics and Technology.
Dignitaries including Sameer Garde, President, Cisco India and SAARC theatre, Jaspreet Bindra, Advisor, Consultant, Author of The Tech Whisperer, Samer Singh Jaini, CEO Digital Fifth, Seema Chopra, Global Technical Leader, Boeing, Amita Kharadkedkar, Vice President at Citi, Raja Jamalamadaka TEDx, Keynote speaker, Krishna Gopal, Global Head Enterprise, Business Solutions and Alliances, TechMahindra, Anjali Raghuvanshi, Chief People Officer, Ranstad India among others will be present at the event.
Famous percussionist Taufiq Qureshi will also perform at the event on the concept of ‘Innovation in Rhythm’ while an inspirational talk will be held with acid attack survivor, Anmol Rodriguez, he added.
