Scribes’ safety Act on anvil in MP

Bhopal, Aug 25 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh’s Kamal Nath dispensation is unalloyedly committed with regard to implementation of the Journalists’ Protection Act, state Public Relations Minister PC Sharma averred on Sunday during a meeting – of the National Union of Journalists India’s National Working Committee – organised by the Journalists’ Union of Madhya Pradesh, it was officially learnt.
In his address, Commissioner (Public Relations) P Narahari described the Department as a bridge between the Fourth Estate and the government.

COVID: J&K reports 532 new +ve cases, seven deaths

Jammu, Aug 15 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday informed that 532 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), (108 from Jammu division and 424 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 28021. Also seven COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 02 from Jammu and 05 from Kashmir Division.

Shimla Municipality goes strict on pet owners for road cleanliness

Shimla, Aug 15 (UNI) Shimla Municipal Corporation has decided to come up with an initiative to keep the city
clean by charging the pet owners who does not clean their pet's feces on roads, with a heavy fine
The new move was taken during the meeting of Shimla Municipal Corporation recently as a resolution was
passed by MC house to take this call against such practices in the civic body. The pet owners would have to carry poop bags with themselves otherwise they will be fined heavily for this brazen disobedience.
