Schools in Jharkhand not to open from October 15

Ranchi, Oct 5 (UNI) Jharkhand Education Project Director Sailesh Chourasia on Monday said that schools in Jharkhand will not re-open from October 15 as the department can not send children in the middle of the pandemic.
He said that the department was watching the spread of Coronavirus in various areas of the state and unless the situation normalises it is not relevant to open the schools. He said that he made a proposal for opening of the schools but due to spread of Coronavirus it did not get cleared.
He said that department had plans that school children with permission of their parents would come to schools to clear their doubts but as the danger was looming it was decided against it.
