School Heads must formulate action plan with staff assistance to ensure quality school education: Meet Hayer

Chandigarh, May 24 (UNI) Punjab Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said the teaching community would play a significant role in revolutionizing the educational scenario.
"The teachers in the Government Schools are chosen on merit who can make the education more qualitative. Thus they can strategize exceptionally with the assistance of their staff and increase the confidence level of the students," he said on Tuesday while presiding over first meeting with the DEOs (Secondary and Elementary Education), Principals, Head Teachers and Incharges of the Government Schools via EDUSAT aimed at educational reforms.
Meet Hayer said that the suggestions have been invited from all the officers and school heads regarding educational reforms and he reiterates that the suggestions must be forwarded after due consultations with the other employees, students and their parents.
