Schneider Electric unveils Rs 200-cr employee campus in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, May 30 (UNI) Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and next-gen automation, inaugurated its largest Rs 200-crore employee campus at Bagmane Solarium City here on Thursday.
Covering approximately 630,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art campus features a Global Innovation Hub, a Training Center, an R&D Center, a Skill Center, and a Digital Hub, with the capacity to accommodate over 8,000 professionals.
This new campus reaffirms Schneider Electric’s commitment to being an employer of choice by providing world-class infrastructure that fosters collaboration, development, and the delivery of industry-leading solutions. It also underscores the company's pledge to "Make in India for India and for the world," highlighting ongoing investments in manufacturing, innovation, people, R&D, and skill-building.
Addressing media at the sprawling campus, Peter Herweck, Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric, expressed his enthusiasm: "I am delighted to open one of our largest employee campuses worldwide in India. The Innovation Hub at Bagmane provides an immersive experience that integrates all Schneider Electric offerings, showcasing a comprehensive journey that transforms sustainability ambitions into tangible actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization. This approach highlights Schneider Electric's commitment to offering a holistic view of its solutions and their impact on driving sustainable practices and outcomes.
The Bagmane Campus Training Center will feature interactive demonstrations, workshops, and expert-led sessions to ensure that employees, partners, and customers gain practical knowledge and expertise in the latest technologies and solutions. It will harness internal expertise to foster a learning culture, providing an advanced environment equipped with the latest technologies and infrastructure.
Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, the Schneider Electric Bagmane Bengaluru Campus is designed with off-site green power, energy-efficient chiller systems, and 100% greywater reuse via a sewage treatment plant. The campus has applied for LEED Gold certification, reflecting Schneider Electric’s commitment to international sustainability standards. Additionally, the interior fit-out works are aiming for LEED Platinum certification, showcasing the company’s pursuit of excellence in sustainable building practices.
