SC warns against giving political colour to its order in Ravidas temple case

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Supreme Court said on Monday that its earlier order regarding Guru Ravidas Temple in Tughlakabad area in the National capital should not be given political colour and warned protesters against taking law into their hands.
The apex court also directed the Punjab, Haryana and Delhi government to ensure law and order maintained in these states in view of the protest against its order to demolish a Ravidas temple in Delhi.
A bench of the Apex Court, headed by Justice Arun Mishra directed Punjab, Haryana and Delhi governments to ensure law and order in these states in view of the protests.
