New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the September 26 order of the NGT in connection with the Char Dham Highway project.
"Issue notice, returnable on Thursday, the 15th November, 2018. There shall be stay of the impugned judgement of the NGT in the meantime," a division bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman and also comprising Justice S Abdul Nazeer, said its order.
Under the Char dham project, roads measuring around 900 km are to be constructed with a cost of more than Rs 12 thousand crore.
