SC/ST Min reviews 'Jai Bhim Mukhyemantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana'

New Delhi, Jan 18 (UNI) After the successful launch of meritorious scheme 'Jai Bhim Mukhyemantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana' last year, approximately 4092 students have enrolled for the coaching facilities to various courses so far out of the proposed target of 5000 students in a year.
To review the scheme Minister SC/ST Rajendra Pal Gautam chaired a high level meeting on Friday with Jt Director Planning, Addtional Secretary DSCST, Sec DSCST & DD Education and senior officers from Finance deptartment to discuss the success rate and proposed amendments to reach out to a bigger number of students.
'Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana' is a scheme for providing free pre-coaching scheme for SC/ST students for preparing themselves for various examinations conducted by UPSC, DSSSB, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board and other examinations of officers grade conducted by banks and insurance companies and for preparing for pre examination for medical and engineering education.
