Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi described the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya title dispute case as a victory of 'faith over facts’'.
The Supreme Court on Saturday cleared the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya, and ruled that the Centre or the Uttar Pradesh Government let a five acre plot to the Sunni Central Waqf Board to construct a mosque.
Reacting over the judgment here, Mr Owaisi said ‘Supreme Court is supreme but not infallible.’
There are several other mosques in the country over which the ‘Sangh Pariwar’ have laid claim, he alleged and said “ I wonder if they will cite this Top Court judgment in those too”.
Supreme court is telling the same people, who demolished the Babri Masjid in December 1992 to form a trust and start the temple construction, the Lok Sabha MP said Modi 2.0 is to make India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and the road of that vision begins from Ayodhya’s verdict.
BJP and RSS will use this verdict in Ayodhya, NRC and citizenship amendment bill to achieve its poisonous agenda, he alleged and said “ I endorse the All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s (AIMPLB) stand on the judgment’.
Our fight was for justice and legal rights, Mr Asaduddin said we don’t need a five-acre land as a charity.
There cannot be any compromise over a mosque, he maintained.
