SC refuses to entertain Kiren Bedi's plea against Madras HC order

New Delhi, Jul 12 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain the plea filed by Puducherry Lieutenant Governor (LG) Kiran Bedi against the Madras High Court's order, with regard to the power tussle in the administration of the Union Territory.
"We are not inclined to interfere with the petition filed by the petitioner. Won't interfere against an interim order. You (petitioner) go to the division bench," the apex court bench, headed by Chief Justice (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi said, after hearing submissions from all the respective parties.
The Court also vacated its interim stay, which restrained the government from implementing any decisions on financial matters.
Ms Bedi had moved the apex court, against the Madras High Court's order with regard to the power tussle in the administration of the Union Territory.
