SC order granting bail to accused in Antilia case may benefit others: Experts

Mumbai, Sep 13 (UNI) The Supreme Court order granting bail to dismissed police inspector Sunil Mane, accused in 2021 in connection with the famous Antilia bomb scare case, may clear the path for the release of other accused, and can benefit the prime accused, another dismissed police officer Sachin Waze, legal experts said today.
According to the experts, like inspector Mane the court had earlier in 2023 granted bail to former encounter specialist cop Pradeep Sharma, a co-accused in the case.
“Based upon the ruling of the Apex court, other accused in the case can claim priority (similarity) and can be benefited,” experts said.
