SC declares Justice Chelameshwar's order on judge's bribery scam null and void

New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Friday declared null and void the order of Justice J. Chelameshwar in connection with the alleged bribery scam involving a judge of the Apex Court.
The case pertains to the alleged bribery allegations against a Judge of the Supreme Court, the petition filed by Prashant Bhushan claimed.
The five-judge bench of the Apex Court, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra passed the order.
On Thursday, while hearing a petition, Justice J. Chelemeshwar passed the order and said that the alleged bribery case involving a Supreme Court judge be heard by a five-judge bench of the Apex Court.
The bench, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra passed the order and made the Justice J. Chelemeshwar order null and void.

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) The Ministry of Culture has said that Adopt a Heritage’ Scheme of the Government is making good progress with three MoUs having already been signed and six at an advanced stage
In response to certain reports appearing recently in the media regarding ‘Adopt a Heritage’ Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) pertaining to Red Fort being ‘put on hold’, the Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Raghvendra Singh said under ‘Adopt a Heritage’ Scheme, three MoUs have already been signed and six are at an advanced stage and 31 more Adarsh Monuments are enlisted for coverage under the scheme.
