SC asks lawyer Utsav Bains to file additional information by Thursday

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Supreme court on Wednesday asked the lawyer Utsav Bains, who alleged that fixers and a corporate person were behind the sexual allegation against Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and wanted to frame him, to file additional information by Thursday.
"We ask the lawyer, Utsav Bains to file additional affidavit in the case to substantiate his claim. We will hear the case after tomorrow at 10.30 am," a three-judge bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra said on Wednesday.
The Apex Court during the course of the hearing observed, we and the institution will not survive if fixers work and try to manipulate the judiciary and probe has to be conducted to catch them to clean the system.
Supreme Court said that there is no role of fixers in judiciary and it will get to the bottom of the allegations that fixers work in judiciary and they hatched conspiracy against Chief Justice and they will be sent to jail.
The three judge bench asked Attorney General KK Venugooal, whether he can ask some responsible officer from CBI preferably Director to come to SC to meet them in chamber.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the SC that CBI director may not be able to come as he may be out of Delhi but joint director will come to court. Mehta requested the court to order an SIT probe into the larger conspiracy to malign the chief justice.
The Top Court said, the fixing part alone is of grave concern. Such things have no part in the system. He (Utsav Bains) has named a fixer. We want to know who the other fixers are? No one, no one can denigrate the judiciary... Other wise we will not survive, you all will not survive.
Mr Bains claimed that he has evidence to prove that the Chief Justice was targeted and a conspiracy was hatched to frame him.
The apex court said, "We will find out the truth who is behind all these."
The Court fixed the matter for further hearing on Thursday at 10.30 AM.
