Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli land reclassification in West Bank

Riyadh, Feb 16 (UNI) The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday condemned Israel’s decision to reclassify lands in the occupied West Bank as “state lands,” calling it a violation of international law and a threat to peace efforts in the region.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the move imposes a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied territory, undermining the two-state solution and Palestinian rights.
The ministry reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over Palestinian land and described the measures as an assault on the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
