Satyendra Jain: Architect of 'Mohalla' healthcare

New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) The journey of Satyendra Jain, who started as an Architect, making layouts of high-rise buildings for the corporates to taking the saddle of healthcare of the national capital in his own hands, has been quite eventful, with both the former Cabinet Minister and his wife facing charge sheet by CBI in a DA case to getting accolades from the Delhiites for the remarkable work done in the Health department.
The senior Aam Aadmi Party leader, who took oath on Sunday once again as a Minister in the new Arvind Kejriwal-led government, with a vision to further accelerate the pace of development of 'Mohalla' Clinics, had earlier served as the Minister of Health, Industries, Power, Public Works Department, Home and Urban Development, during 2015-2020.
The AAP leader joined politics after taking part in social activist Anna Hazare's movement against corruption in 2011.

NCRTC launches campaign to encourage voting for LS polls

New Delhi, April 25 (UNI) In a bid to encourage passengers to exercise their democratic right to vote in the parliamentary elections, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Thursday launched a campaign for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls, scheduled to be held on April 26.

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) The second phase of the General Elections will decide the fate of 1210 candidates including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as voters spread across 13 states/UTs cast their votes on Friday. In total, there are 89 Lok Sabha seats in the second phase.
