Satyendar Jain stresses upon need for creating menstrual health awareness among females

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Wednesday stressed upon the need for creating menstrual health awareness among the women and the girls through Aanganwadi workers, by organising awareness camps in the Girls Schools and Colleges.
Speaking after launching the menstrual health awareness book titled“Mahawari ki Kahani Sachhi Saheli ki Zubaani”, prepared by the Sachhi Saheli in collaboration with the department of women and child development, Delhi Government , in a function, organised at Delhi Secretariat. he said,''it is the need of the hour that individuals comprising of the Doctors, teachers, journalists, students and educationists together take up the challenge of eradicating stigmas, surroundings, menstruations and sexual abuse in order to make our society a better and safer place for girls and women.''
Releasing the book, Mr Jain said,"Nutrition, education and cleanliness are the three pillars of good health and if they are taken care of most infections and diseases can be prevented.
