Sathya Sai Baba inspired millions to participate in human service: Vice Prez

Anantapur, Nov 22 (UNI) Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said that Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh inspired millions of people across the globe to participate in human services.
Addressing the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba in Prashanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi on Wednesday, he said that Sai Baba was a great transformational leader who transformed the physical landscape at Puttapathi, a small village has become a vibrant global spiritual retreat.
He transformed the villagers’ lives through the provision of drinking water and demonstrated how values can be inculcated through education and how healthcare can be delivered to the poor, Mr Naidu said, adding that Satya Sai Baba established hospitals and educational institutions which are rendering services and imparting education completely free of charge.
