Sasikumar Mukund moves into third round of Traralgon Challenger

Chandigarh, Oct 22 (UNI) After getting bye in the first round, 10th seeded Indian Sasikumar Mukund side-stepped Sebastian Fanselow of Germany in straight sets 7-6 (6), 6-3 in the singles second round fixture of the USD 54,160 Traralgon Challenger (Australia) on Tuesday.
Mukund, who fired eight aces and did not commit even a single double fault took one hour and 47 minutes to dispose of the challenge of his rival.
Fanselow served four aces and committed six double faults. The German saved nine break points out of 12 and won of seven break points in comparison to his opponent saving six out of seven break points and winning three of 12 break points.
