Chandigarh, Nov 5 (UNI) Oscar Otte of Germany ousted Sasikumar Mukund of India in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 in 47 minutes in the singles first round match of the € 114,800 Peugeot Slovak Open ATP Challenger at Bratislava (Slovakia).
Mukund served one ace and committed three double faults and saved five of nine break points. His first service was 51 per cent in. Oscar fired seven aces and committed a solitary double fault. He won four of nine break points and kept his first service 70 per cent in.
Oscar won 60 points in comparison to 33 by Mukund, who earned €550.
In another match top seeds Indian pair of N Sriram Balaji and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan have been top seeded in doubles and they open their campaign with a first round fixture against American pair of Marcos Giron and Alex Lawson in the $ 54,160 Knoxville Challenger (Tennessia), US.
