Saryu Rai hands over resignation to Guv, says CM should have sacked him

Ranchi, Dec 13 (UNI) Former cabinet minister Saryu Rai today handed over his resignation to Governor Draupadi Murmu here.
Speaking to the press after giving his resignation letter, he said in the entire state BJP will not be able to win more than 15 seats and said that it was for Chief Minister Raghubar Das to sack him from the cabinet. He said that on moral grounds he had no rights to remain on the cabinet post as he had contested the elections against the Chief Minister himself.
He said that he had faxed his resignation on November 17 itself which due to some reason did not reach the Governor therefore he decided to personally meet her and handed her the resignation letter. He said, since he had contested against the Chief Minister therefore he should have been sacked which was not done by Mr Das.

All 15 candidates for two LS seats clear scrutiny
