Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre at Chhatarpur admits 21 Covid patients on  first day

New Delhi, Jul 5 (UNI) A total of 21 Coronavirus infected patients have been admitted to ITBP run Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre and Hospital at South Delhi’s Chhatarpur on Sunday.

The world's largest Covid care makeshift hospital has been set up at Radha Soami Beas campus at Chhatarpur has been managed by the Himalayan border guarding force Indo-Tibatan Border Police (ITBP)following the order by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre and Hospital, set up at Radha Soami Beas in South Delhi's Chhattarpur, received the first Novel Coronavirus patient here on Sunday morning.

According to ITBP, a 35-year-old woman from Delhi became the first patient to be treated here by the Force doctors.

The world's largest makeshift Covid care centre started functioning from Sunday morning.

More than 1000 Doctors of ITBP and other CAPFs and 2000 more paramedical, assistant and security staff have been deployed at the Centre, to run this hospital and care centre.

The South Delhi District Administration has been providing administrative support to the Centre.
