Santosh Ajmera takes over charge of Regional Outreach Bureau, Pune

Panaji, Sep 13 (UNI) Santosh Ajmera, an Indian Information Service (IIS) officer of 2008 batch, presently posted as Officer on Special Duty for the National Film Heritage Mission project, has been entrusted with the charge of Director, Regional Outreach Bureau, ROB, Pune.
According to a statement here, Mr Ajmera will have to look after both the offices of NFHM and ROB, Pune. The office of ROB has been recently rechristened by merging various media units of I&B Ministry like Directorate of Field Publicity, Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity and Song & Drama Division.
The ROB is responsible for various outreach activities of Government of India and has to reach out to people with awareness campaigns for various plans, policies and schemes of the Government in the entire Maharashtra and Goa region. It carries out outreach programmes and campaigns at the field level and ensure the development communication reaches to the last mile.
