New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Announcing a series of organisational appointments, BJP chief Amit Shah on Saturday appointed party MP Sanjay Jaiswal as the saffron party's new Bihar unit chief.
According to announcement made by BJP general secretary Arun Singh, legislator Satish Poonia will be the new president of BJP Rajasthan unit while Ajay Thakur was appointed as party's Uttarakhand general secretary in charge organisation.
Dr Jaiswal is representing Paschim Champaran constituency of Bihar since 2009.
The appointment of new state unit chief in Bihar is significant as the JD(U)-BJP ruled state will be going to the polls by October 2020.
