Sania retains no 1 spot in doubles rankings

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) Indian ace tennis player Sania Mirza after winning Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo continues to retain her no one ranking in women's doubles according to the latest Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. There has been no change in the top six spots of the doubles rankings. Sania with 9730 points is at the top of the table, while her former doubles partner from Switzerland Matrina Hingis with 9725 points is second, however, there is a difference of 5 points between both the players. Meanwhile, Sania's current doubles partner from Czech Republic Barbora Strycova is placed at 18th spot. In the men's doubles chart, Rohan Bopanna is static at 18th, while veteran Leander Paes has moved four places to 60th. In the men's singles rankings Sakth Myneni has climbed two places at 138th spot, while Ramkumar Ramanathan has plummeted to 10 places to 229. UNI NC AE SB 1831
