Sangli: Rs 442.88 cr outline drafts approved for 2021-2022

Sangli, Maharashtra, Jan 23 (UNI) Rs 442.88 crore outline drafts have been approved for district planning schemes in the district for the year of 2021-2022 in District Planning Development Committee (DPDC) meeting on Saturday.
After a review meeting of DPDC, which was held at District Collector's office, State Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil, who is also the district guardian minister, said in a press conference that total Rs 442.88 crore outline draft for 2021-22 has been approved, including Rs 358.09 crore for general schemes, Rs 83.81 crore for special component and Rs 98 lakh for OTSP.
He said that total 141 schools in the district will be developed as modern school for increased merits. The minister also thanked district administration, especially health department for excellent service during the corona epidemic in the district.
