Sandesh Jhinghan is Now Ready to Play in an Overseas League

August 10,2020: Sandesh Jhingan is one of the main mainstays of Indian football. He has also parted ways with the Kerela Blasters on the ISL side. The assistant coach Shanmugam Venkatesh feels as though this is now the time for him to try his look in other leagues outside the country. Jhingan has been a strong mainstay in the national team and he got picked in the 2014 edition of the league. He was 20 years old at the time. Ever since then, the centre-back has been very much like a rock at the heart of the defence for the Blasters.

Blaster’s Defence

Sandesh Jhinghan is a centre-back and he has been a huge player so far. He helped them to reach the final two times and he has made a total of 76 appearances before he decided to part ways with the team. It’s known that players like Sandesh are required on the field and he needs to go and play in some foreign league. This of course, doesn’t have to be Europe. Venkatesh has stated this with his Instagram handle on the Indian Football League's page. He has also stated that now is the right time for him. If he does move though, you will still be able to bet on him through the Comeon India website. A lot of people believe that now is a good time for him as it is possible to improve Indian football even more.  The solution is that 8 or 9 players need to go and play outside India if possible.

Even Asia have the J-League, as well as the UAE league. Sandesh is ready to play outside India right now and he isincredibly committed as a player. He is known for playing every single game and giving his all. Jhingan picked up an injury to his ACL and this kept him on the sidelines for quite some time. In fact, he was sidelined for the entire 2019 and 2020 season. The Blasters finished 7th as a result of this. Jhingan who has a total of 36 caps for the Indian team has missed a lot of the FIFA qualifiers for this very reason.

Looking to the Future

He has stated that right now he is back and looking to the future more than ever before. He has stated that he is in fact ready even if the camp starts tomorrow. Jhingan told IANS this in an interview that he started earlier this month. He has stated that as of right now, he has not received his true potential. Ultimately, he wants to win trophies. He hasn’t won very many right now and he feels as though he needs to win at a club level. For the nation, it looks like the World Cup is the ultimate dream and that if he was to hang his boots up right now, it would be a huge regret. Only time will tell what the future holds.
