Sand crisis: Janasena urges Guv to intervene

Vijayawada, Nov 12 (UNI) Janasena party on Tuesday wrote a letter to the Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, urging his intervention to resolve the scarcity of sand.
Film star turned politician and Janasena president K Pawan Kalyan in his letter to the Governor said that he wanted to bring his kind notice to the sad plight and innumerable hardships being faced by more than 35 lakh workers due to lack of sand which crippled the construction activities in the state.
“There has been no response from the State government to safeguard the welfare of construction workers. The Janasena organised a huge “Long March” protest rally in Visakhapatnam in support of construction workers urging the state government to correct the discrepancies of their new sand policy.
