Sampla leads Shobhaa Yatra on eve of 678th birth anniversary of Bhagat Kabir

Jalandhar, Jun 18 (UNI) Devotees of Bhagat Kabir, a sufi saint and one of the great leaders of Bhakti movement in India, today took out a shobha yatra on the eve of 678th birth anniversary of the great spiritual leader of India.
Thousands of devotees participated in the shobha yatra. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla led the religious procession which began this afternoon from Baba Budda mal Park in Buta Mandi here.
Punjab Forest Minister Bhagat Chunni Lal, BJP MLA Manoranjan kalia, Mohinder Bhagat and several leaders of different political parties, religious and social organisations joined the procession which went round the city bazaars and other areas decorated with colourful strips.
