New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla assumed the charge of Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes here on Wednesday.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Som Parkash and former Punjab Minister Tikshan Sud along with several Punjab BJP functionaries, who were present during the charge assuming ceremony, extended their wishes to Sampla for his successful tenure.
Later, during lunch, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister Hardeep Puri and Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur also greeted Sampla and wished him for his new assignment.
