Salman shoots breathtaking action sequences for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' with help from Abu Dhabi Army

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) 'Tiger Zinda Hai', the much-awaited lavish action drama from Yash Raj Films, will see Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan shoot never-seen-before action sequences, thanks to the Abu Dhabi army, officials from Yashraj films said.

The 'Tiger Zinda Hai' team shot a long, elaborate schedule in Abu Dhabi featuring tons of action. This schedule featured choppers, jets, army vehicles, and heavy artillery from the Emirates’ army.

Yashraj officials said 'Tiger Zinda Hai' has focused on delivering world-class standard fights and thrills that have never been seen before in a Bollywood film.

For the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer, which pushes the envelope on action, the team roped in Tom Struthers of 'The Dark Knight' fame to design outlandish, jaw-dropping and unforgettable fight scenes in films for 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

Speaking about the action sequences, Director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Tom is a master of high-octane action sequences and here, his brief was to create action that is both larger than life and yet, realistic. He has delivered sequences that will stay with audiences for a long time.”

Speaking about the action in the film, Struthers said “We’ve had to create a lot of explosions for the film. We’ve blown up fifteen vehicles, of which four are moving vehicles. One of them is a 40 tonne truck which made a lot of noise when it blew up! What was difficult to make (referring to the action sequences), actually feels beautiful to watch now. The action that has been created for Tiger Zinda Hai is good as any other film that I have done."

A sequel to Kabir Khan 's 'Ek Tha Tiger', this Salman-Katrina espionage drama will see action like never before.

The edge-of-the-seat entertainer is set to release on December 22.
