Sainik Bhawan at Silchar inaugurated

Guwahati, Jan 7 (UNI) A Sainik Bhawan was inaugurated at Silchar in southern Assam by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gogoi acknowledged the role of the armies and other para-military forces in containing insurgency in Assam as well as helping the state security agency in maintaining law and order.
Mr Gogoi said the sacrifice of the armies are unparallel and as a mark of respect to their supreme sacrifices his Government is doing everything possible to induct the ex-service men in the government jobs.
