Sai Baba birthplace row: Gram sabha in Patri claims to be real birthplace of saint

Parbhani, Jan 21 (UNI) As ongoing row between Patri and Shirdi rages over the birthplace of Sai Baba, the Patri gram sabha in the district on Tuesday passed a resolution that Patri is the real birthplace of the revered saint and it should be accepted by the people of Shirdi with open heart and urged the Maharashtra government to take a suitable decision in this regard soon.
Adding to this, the Aurangabad and Beed districts also jumped in this fray claiming that Sai Baba spent some time at Dupkheda and Beed respectively and sought funds for development of these places.
