SAD compares Kamal Nath with 'Ravana' on appointment in Punjab

Fatehgarh Sahib, Jun 14 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal has questioned the rational of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in appointing as Punjab affairs In-charge, a person, who was convicted in the 1984 riots.
It is like appointing 'Lord Ravana' as the religious and political affairs head of Congress at Ayodhya or a staunch Nazi party candidate to monitor on behalf of the UN in the affairs of Jews in Israel, SAD (Amritsar) chief Simranjeet Singh Mann said yesterday.
''Moreover, we are surprised that Congress Chief of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh has welcomed the appointment of Kamal Nath. Previously, the Captain stated that the mass killer of Sikhs in the 1984 massacres Jagdish Tytler was innocent of any such killings.
