New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday directed that a conference of all lawyers shall be arranged by senior advocates, Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Dr Rajeev Dhavan and Indira Jaising, within three days, ith respect to the review petitions on the Sabarimala temple issue.
Headed by Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde, the nine-judge bench said the Secretary General shall attend this meeting.
Lawyer for chief priest at Sabarimala sought a direction to allow him to directly address the court in the controversy which is in the headlines over the entry of menstruating women in the shrine.
The CJI told him, it is about the questions, not Sabarimala specifically.
