Sabarimala row: BJP workers stage protest march to Kerala CM's house

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 23 (UNI) BJP workers on Sunday staged a protest march to 'Cliff House', the official residence of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in protest against the police efforts to ensure entry of Chennai-based young women group into Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala.
Alleging that the 11-member Maniti group reached here with the support of Kerala Police, the BJP activists said the Chief Minister was supporting the activists for breaking the customs and traditions of the centuries old temple.
Meanwhile, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said the government should withdraw from hurting the religious sentiments of crores of people. The Government was giving a chance for RSS and BJP to create communal violence, he alleged.
