New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Tuesday decided to hear on November 13 review petitions seeking a change in its judgement permitting entry of women of all ages in the revered Sabarimala temple in Kerala.
The bench was headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and also comprised Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.
As many as 19 review petitions were filed before the apex court seeking to change its September order allowing all women in the 10 to 50 age group to enter the temple's sanctum sanctorum.
The petitions asserted that the restrictions on the entry of women were all faith and religious practices of devotees and there should be no interference with the ancient practices.
