Sabarimala: 730 devotees visit during Thulam; TDB claims pilgrimage successful

Pathanamthitta, Oct 22 (UNI) A total of 1250 devotees had booked through online for "darshan" at Sabarimala during the five-day monthly rituals of Malayalam month Thulam, only 750 pilgrims had "darshan" till Wednesday, the closing day of the month.
As many as 250 people were allowed to visit the temple on a single day. However, about half of the devotees did not visit the temple. Majority of the devotees were from other states, sources said on Thursday.
Normally Thulam is the month when most pilgrims come to the temple ahead of the Mandalam-Makaravilakku season. People used to que up for hours to have "darshan" during these five days.
