Russian President Vladmir Putin calls EU decision to phase out Russian energy impractical

Moscow, July 17 (UNI) Calling the European Union’s policy of a phased reduction in Russian energy impractical, Russian President Vladmir Putin said that this move has already caused great harm to Europe’s energy sector – as it is heavily dependent on Russian energy supplies, and continuing it will only have more adverse effects for the European market, reports state-media TASS.

In a meeting with the Russian president, Andrey Guryev, the head of the Russian Association of Fertiliser Producers said that Europe’s petrochemical sector has almost completely halted its work.
