Russia ready to deepen cooperation with China in law enforcement, security - Shoigu

Beijing, Nov 13 (UNI) Russia is ready to further deepen cooperation with China in the area of ​​law enforcement and security, as well as in the fight against extremism, terrorism and transnational crime, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday.
"High intensity of interaction remains between security and law enforcement agencies of our countries. We are set to further deepen cooperation in law enforcement and security," Shoigu said at a meeting with Chinese Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission Chen Wenqing.
He noted that Moscow is interested in further consolidating efforts to combat extremism, terrorism and transnational crime both on a bilateral basis and in multilateral formats.
