Moscow, May 28 (UNI) The summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the BRICS Group, which was expected to be held in Russia in July, will be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kremlin said in a statement.
In view of the COVID pandemic and related sanctions, the organising committee responsible for preparing and handling Russia's SCO and it's 2020 BRICS chairpersons for Russia's 2019-2020 chairmanship, postponed the meeting of the BRICS summit.
'The State of Heads is scheduled to place in St Petersburg on July 21–23,' the statement said here on Wednesday.
