Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) Erasing previous days losses, the Rupee on Wednesday surged by 31 paise to 68.07 against the US Dollar, on fresh selling of US Dollars by banks and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
Sliding by 37 paise in the previous session, the domestic unit jumped by 29 paise to 68.09 in early trade today.
Finally, it ended strong at 68.07, advancing by 31 paise as compared to its last close.
It registerd day high and low at 68.18 and 68.06 respectively.
Weak dollar against other world currencies and rebounding equity market pushed the indian currency up, dealer added.
