Mumbai, Feb 23 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday recovered from three month

low to end positive at 64.73, up by 32 paise on fresh selling of US

Dollars by bank and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.

Postive closibg in the domestic equit market als0 helped rupee to

gain, dealers added.



Rupee recovered by 18 paise to 64.87 against the dollar in early

trade today on mild selling of the greenback by exporters and gained

further to close at 64.73 up by 32 paise

A major oscillation was seen day high and low at 64.95 and

64.68 respectively, dealer said.

On Thursday, the rupee had plunged by 30 paise to end at a new

three-month low of 65.05 against the US dollar even as importers

actively covered unhedged positions amid fears over Fed rate hike.

Weak dollar against overseas currencies pushed the indian

currency up, they added.
