Mumbai, Jan 20 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday advanced by 14 paise to close at 73.03 against the US Dollar on brisk selling of the US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit moved up by seven paise to 73.10 in the early trade. Till the end of the session, it added further gain to close at 73.03, up by 14 paise as compared to its last close.

The domestic unit rose owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market, the brokers said.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.15 and 73.01 respectively, they added.
