Rupee ends strong at 65.03 against USD

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) The rupee surged today by 36 paise to 65.03 against the greenback on brisk selling of US Dollars from banks and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit remained strong during the day, as it opened higher by 26 paise to 65.13. Till the end of the session, it rallied by 36 paise to 65.03 as compared to its last close. Weak dollar against other currencies overseas, however weak equity market capped from further rise, It registered day high and low at 65.02 and 65.28 respectively, they added UNI NV NP1727
