Rupee ends at 73.32 against USD; 3-week-high

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday bounced back by 28 paise to
73.32, a three-week-high against the US Dollar on fresh dollar
selling by exporters amid easing crude oil prices, dealers at Forex
Market said.
The local unit opened steady at 73.60. Till the end of the
session it surged by 28 paise to end positive at 73.32 as compared
to its last close.
The domestic unit registered day high and low at 73.65 and 73.30
respectively.
Weak dollar against other world currencies the indian currency
gain despite negative equity market, dealers said adding that the
Reserve Bank of India’s steps to ease liquidity concerns of NBFCs
also helped the domestic currency.
The rupee sentiment also received a boost after a steep fall in
Brent crude prices on Thursday following a surprise jump in US
stockpiles and lingering worries about Chinese growth outlook.
