Rupee down by 7 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 20 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday eased by seven paise to 69.04 against the US Dollar in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at forex market said.



The domestic unit declined on strong dollar against other currencies however positive opening in stock capped from further decline.



The Indian currency registered intra day high and low at 69.17 and 69.04 respectively, dealer added.
