Police arrested one Inderjeet Sen, husband of Lohra panchayat chief in Harnaut block, following a tip off that he had staked huge quantity of country liquor at his residence here today. He was forwarded to jail after interrogation. Irked over the arrest, a large number of his supporters laid a siege to Excise office here alleging their leader had been framed and arrested under a conspiracy.
