Mysuru, Apr 20 (UNI) The high percentage of the voter turnout for 14 Lok Sabha segments in the April 18 first phase elections in Karnataka (second phase in the country), has raised the question on how the pattern will affect the fortunes of both JD(S)-Congress coalition candidates and the BJP contestants.
The BJP is trying to make inroads into the Old Mysore area which has remained the stronghold of Congress and the JD(S) and the two parties that remained arch rivals in the region, are now fighting the election unitedly under the coalition formula.
