Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 2 2016 10:07PM Ruling BJD calls for hartal in undivided Koraput to protest Polavaram projectBhubaneswar, Jan 2 (UNI ) Ruling Biju janata Dal (BJD) today called for a hartal in the undivided Koraput district of South Odisha on January 7 and a protest demonstration before the Governor House here, to protest the constriction of Polavaram project in Andhra Pradesh. Talking to newspersons here, party General secretary and Industry Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said the decision to organise hartal was taken as the Centre had decided to fund the Polavaram project, despite strong protest lodged by the state government.
