Ruckus in MP House over transfers

Bhopal, July 12 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly briefly descended into chaos on Friday over the issue of bureaucrats’ transfers.
During the Question Hour, Mr Nagendra Singh (opposition Bharatiya Janata Party) raised the issue of unauthorised mining causing environmental pollution in Rewa District and made a remark regarding postings. Home Minister Bala Bachchan objected to the comment and demanded that it be struck off the record. Meanwhile, numerous BJP members rose, generated pandemonium and incessantly levelled allegations against the Treasury bench in the context of transfers.

Observing the spiralling disorder, Speaker Narmada Prasad Prajapati averred, “The Member who posed the query is digressing from the subject and wasting precious time.”
